  • Self Sabotaging Behaviours

    Self sabotage(self destruction) is a product of unfamiliarity, no matter how good the unknown is we will feel a sense of unease until it becomes familiar. That’s why it is hard to start something new!

    We have a system of resistance for the unknown.

    We are programmed to seek what we’ve known.

    Even though we think we are after happiness but actually we are chasing whatever we are most used to.

    The first step in healing anything is taking full accountability.

    Sometimes we develop a fear within ourselves of things that we know are not going to happen, these are irrational fears whose chances are least to become the reality.

    Deep within we know they are not going to happen,these fears are safe to dwell on.

    So in that case instead of wasting our energy in pondering about these worst case scenarios, we have to consider the message of that fear in our life.

    For instance if we fear about losing a job or getting low grades , the fear might really be the idea that you aren’t worthy of another job or you don’t have the guts to learn from your mistakes and make improvements in life. It could be our fear of failing which is not letting us take risks and in turn we lose lots of opportunities because of that fear.

    If we can identify what we want to protect,we can find healthier and more secure ways to do it.

    There is a secret message behind every fear.”

  • A letter to “Mind”

    Sometimes you work in inverse relation to my efforts to be calm,

    And in that process of opposing my efforts,

    You are harming and degrading your own cells,

    Why can’t you understand that I prefer peace rather than chaos ,

    Inspite of trying so hard, you aren’t letting that one moment of pain vanish from my memory,

    Don’t let your ego of ‘winning the argument‘ destroy your own self this time,

    Dear Brain please be merciful for your own sake.

  • Not a lazy Soul

    Stones all around the path,

    Breakers to dim your spark,

    Dillema leads to the doubting mark;

    Yet, you fight as you are not a lazy soul,

    Who becomes immortal like a resting bowl!

  • It’s Courageous to be Normal

    When Feet start paining,

    When eyes turn red,

    When frown isn’t ready to leave your head,

    Acknowledge that it is not the pursuit of superiority ,

    It’s superiority complex.

    To be honest everybody wants to get successful in this world and there’s nothing wrong in it as well, until the term called “at any cost comes within it”.

    This Life is not a race , it’s a journey of ups and downs where we learn a lot by making mistakes sometimes and try to correct them at other times but the option we don’t get here is ‘Quitting’ .

    Recognition from others is a part of Superiority complex where we lose our freedom of living our life for ourselves and even lose our identity just for the sake of being someone whom other’s want , then in this course it’s not we who are living but an image of illusion created by society.

    Which is just like a cup of Coffee, in which some prefer extra sugar, some prefer extra milk and some like to take it black.

    So according to Adlerian psychology “contribution to society” is no doubt an important factor for giving meaning to life but that contribution should not be based on the factor of recognition from others.

    In fact it’s not a Give and take relationship of contribution, it’s a relation of giving for your own peace and happiness.

    True Freedom is in acceptance of who you are!

  • Satisfaction, A Goal!

    In a world where everyone can give you detailed lecture on how to get satisfied with things we already have in our life, yet we all are falling in the trap of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem as no one is satisfied.

    We all want to have initially much then more and last but not least most of anything.

    Much,More,Most.”

    Well to be honest satisfaction lies in only one thing that is gratitude and gratitude is a habit so you have to work for it, keep practicing it, keep reminding your mind about it.

    And on one fine day when Being grateful will become your way of life , eventually satisfaction will try to fit in your life whithout any efforts made by you.

  • Life, Why can’t you Like Me

    Life why are you so confusing?

    Why you want me to be self-doubting;

    Why you showcase glittery things around me;

    Why you want me to get divert from the path;

    Why you want me to be like others;

    Why you want me to be in a state of chaos;

    Why can’t you accept me being me!

    After all you are my life, why can’t you like me.

    Me Being Me

  • Examine Yourself

    Life throws us curveballs. It is the nature of life, and human nature is trying to give a six out of that curve ball. Sometimes you can win and other times you will fail as well.

    Examining yourself is an essential part of living, don’t get bogged down from ur mistakes learn from it somehow .

  • Rich Dad Poor Dad

    Lesson 2: Why teach financial literacy?

    1. It’s not how much money you make . It’s how much money you keep.

    2. Nowadays people are too focused on money and not their greatest wealth that’s their financial education. If people are prepared to be flexible keep an open mind and learn, they will grow richer despite tough changes.

    3. Intelligence solves problem, money without financial intelligence is money soon gone.

    4. Rich acquire assets. The poor and middle class acquire liabilities that they think are assets.

    5.An asset puts money in our pocket whether we work or not, and a liability takes money out of our pocket.

    6. If you want to be rich simply spend your life buying or building assets. If you want to be poor or middle class ,spend your life buying liabilities.

    7. 80% of most families, the financial story paints the picture of hard work to get ahead. However, this effort is for naught because they spend their lives buying liabilities instead of assets.

    8. Money only accentuates the cash flow pattern running in your head. If your pattern is to spend everything you get, most likely an increase in cash will result in an increase in spending. Thus the saying,” A fool and his money is one big party.”

    9. The real trouble is how they choose to spend the money they have. It is caused by financial illiteracy and not understanding the difference between an asset and a liability.

    10. Japanese were aware of 3 powers :

          . The Power of Sword (symbolises weapons)

          . Power of Jewel ( symbolises power of     money)

          . Power of Mirror (symbolises power of self   knowledge)

    11. Too often the poor and middle class allows the power of money to control them.

    12. If they used the Power of mirror they would have asked themselves,”Does this makes sense?” All too often instead of trusting their inner wisdom most people follow the crowd.

    13. That’s why Japanese values the power of mirror the most, for it is only when we look into it we find truth. Fear is the main reason that people say play it safe.

    14. Schools were designed to produce good employees instead of employers.

    15. The greatest losses of all are those from missed opportunities. If all your money is tied up in your house , you may be forced to work harder because your money continues blowing out of the expenses column instead of adding to the asset column the classic middle class cash flow pattern. If the young couple would put more money into their asset column early on , their later years would be is easier . Their assets would have grown and would be available to help cover expenses.

    16. If you want to buy a bigger house first buy assets that will generate the cash flow to pay for the house.

    17. Keep liabilities and expenses down so more money is available to continue pouring into the asset column.

    18. The investments which the middle class calls “too risky“, those investment is not risky for the financially literate

    The problem with simply working harder is that each of these three levels takes a greater share of your increased efforts. You need to learn how to have your increased efforts benefit you and your family directly.

    19. Want to grow rich ? Concentrate your efforts on buying income producing assets -when you truly understand what an asset  is keep liabilities and expenses low . You will deepen in your asset column.

    20. Financial aptitude : What you do with the money once you make it, how to keep people from taking it from you, how to keep it longer and how to make that money work hard for you.
